🔥 Ingredients

For the Chicken

  • 400–500 g chicken breast or thighs, cut into strips or chunks

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste


Breading (Egg & Flour)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp milk or water

  • 180 g all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika


🍯 Pumpkin Spice Honey Glaze

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice blend

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional, for warmth)

  • ÂĽ tsp nutmeg (optional)

  • ÂĽ tsp smoked paprika (balances the sweetness)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1–2 tbsp water (to thin if needed)


For Frying

  • Neutral oil (sunflower, canola, etc.)


🍳 Instructions

1. Season the Chicken

Season chicken pieces generously with salt and black pepper.
Set aside while you prepare the breading.


2. Set Up the Breading

  • Bowl 1: Whisk eggs with milk or water

  • Bowl 2: Mix flour, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika

Dip chicken into egg → then into flour.
Press firmly so the coating sticks well.

3. Deep-Fry 🔥

Heat oil to 175–180°C / 350–360°F.

Fry chicken in batches for 5–7 minutes, until:

  • Deep golden brown

  • Super crispy

  • Fully cooked inside

Drain on a wire rack or paper towels.


4. Make the Pumpkin Spice Honey Glaze 🍯

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine:

  • Honey

  • Pumpkin spice

  • Cinnamon & nutmeg (if using)

  • Smoked paprika

  • Salt

  • Butter

Stir gently until melted, glossy, and smooth.
Add 1–2 tbsp water if the glaze feels too thick — it should drip, not clump.

Place hot fried chicken on a rack or plate.
Drizzle the warm pumpkin spice honey glaze generously over the chicken, letting it run down the crispy crust.
